I wanted to introduce you to headwedge - a fellow individual who did a degree in the medical field and is pursuing a Phd in Computer Science *although I finished both of mine, neither were Phds.

Anyways, he is like dead insightful most of the time, and full of crap only some of it. I would say it’s about an 80/20 ratio.

I can honestly say that he has given me some of the best advice (and diagnosis) that anyone ever has. But don’t trust him when he tells you which horse to bid on.

Oh, and do any of the fellow bloggers out there have a reason to blog, other than narcissism?

Gonna add a new section to the site called “daily photos” and I plan on snapping a photo a day to slap on here.

Myspace.com is down - allegedly for a power outage - but I can promise you that a power outage issue shouldn’t last this long (7 hours and counting) as any developer or company that is worth thier merit backs up databases regularly.

A power outage seems to have hit the data center that hosts MySpace.com, the largest social network in the world. This is the second day in a row we have heard similar reports, though today we have managed to grab a screen shot. Ironically, the www.myspace.com still shows an ad - at least the FIM has its priorities right.

But seriously, it is hard to believe that a service this large could just have one data center. Have they not heard of redundancy? I am pretty sure there is more to the story. One can only imagine how millions of MySpace users feel right now. Mashable has more information on this developing story.

Theories?

There is now a new section of my site called “snapand shame”.

It is a campaign where people can send photos (mobile phone) of the car registration and the violation of people parking in handicapped spaces who arent handicapped, as well as those parking illegally (ie double yellow lines), people without kids in family parking areas, and idiots parking in fire zones.

I may, in future, send these to the DVLA and the owner/address details could be sorted into region and sent to local papers.

So send me your photos, as well as a brief description on where and when the voilation took place, and maybe we can get some of these shitbags to park properly!
