On a Sunday, providing that my beloved Hull City do not have a match, I like to spend the day being as completely selfish and as decadent as possible.

My favourite things on this day are sleeping in late, pottering about, making some coffee, and then getting back in bed with the Sunday Times, Hollyoaks Omnibus, my laptop, reading this weeks postsecrets, and maybe watching Goals on Sunday…

When I finally do rise from the bed, I come into the lounge, maybe make some breakfast, surf the net some more, chat with a few mates, and lie of the sofa, perhaps reading a book.

I happen to spend this day as a day of rest, although I prepare for the week by doing laundry, tidying up, and getting everything prepared that I may need for the following week; physically, mentally and lately, spiritually.

So, I thought that I would share with you some of the amazing beauty that I happen to find on these days.

This is the amazing view I wake up to each and every day - this gorgeous site I see every morning from my bay window is worth every bit of hassle and noise I hear from living in such a wonderful and cosmopolitain area (clicking the image opens it up in its full- and massive - size):

And as a gift to you, my wonderful readers subscribers, and general public, you can download  this as a wallpaper:
